Psykovsky aka Vasily Markelov is considered as one of the top Russian psy-trance producers.​ Born in Russia he began playing in groups as early as 12 and made his first steps into the psy-trance scene as the member of the Transdriver project, along with Alexey Kovalev.

Since 2000 Vasily has worked with a number of different solo and collaborative projects such as Limbertimbre Psykovsky, Magnum Opus, Nothing Special, Nritya Shastra, Osom, Psykovskyfractyyyk Gauchos, Psykovsykerozulu, and is nowadays acknowledged as one of the most successful dark psy artists around.

Innovative but still traditional, his sound has attracted different people with different tastes giving a unique perspective to the Dark-Psy scene.
