Soong mei ling biography books

We are pleased to note the recent publication of a new illustrated biography of Soong Mayling 宋美齡 (Madame Chiang Kai-shek, 1899-2003), entitled 佳美的腳蹤：宋美齡與她的時代 (Soong Mayling and Her Era: A Legacy of Grace and Resilience), edited by CHEN Liwen 陳立文, with Esther Hu 胡斯慧 serving as English editor and translator.

The book attempts to break the stereotype of “great men” by exploring the nuances of the relationship, responsibilities, and commitments between Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling in political, national, and personal spheres.
